8. Movement & Repositioning

Describes safe methods for relocating towers. Includes preparation steps, correct pushing techniques, castor management, and reinspection requirements after movement to maintain stability.

8.1 Before Moving

  • Remove materials from platform

  • Ensure no one is on tower

  • Check overhead clearance

 

8.2 Moving the Tower

​

  1. Unlock castors

  2. Push from the base, never pull from top

  3. Move slowly in a controlled manner

  4. Relock castors

 

8.3 After Movement

​

  • Relevel tower

  • Reinstall stabilisers

  • Perform brief pre-use inspection
