Battery Storage

Why is battery storage a cost-effective option for reducing energy consumption?

Battery storage captures surplus energy you generate for later use, rather than selling it back to the grid, thereby boosting your self-consumption of clean energy when it's most needed.

Is it possible to enjoy savings from battery storage even if I don't have solar panels?

Absolutely. Batteries remain a fantastic means to save money by charging during low-tariff off-peak hours and utilising the stored energy during regular tariff periods.

Do batteries require maintenance?

Battery systems are primarily designed to be 'fit and forget.' All settings can be adjusted via an app. However, we do offer maintenance packages to ensure your batteries remain in peak condition.

Is it possible to integrate battery storage into my current solar system?

Certainly. You have two options: Option 1 involves an AC-coupled setup where you retain your existing inverter and add an AC-coupled inverter along with the battery. Option 2 entails replacing the current inverter with a Hybrid Inverter, which is suitable for existing systems where the current inverter may be out of warranty.

Is it feasible to mount the batteries outdoors?

Absolutely, all our batteries are IP rated, allowing them to be mounted outside without affecting the system's overall performance. This is particularly advantageous when space is limited inside the building.

Can more batteries be added to my system in the future?

All the battery systems we provide offer the flexibility to add additional battery modules later on if needed. This is especially beneficial if you're generating surplus energy and wish to store more of it. Adding extra modules is a straightforward process after the initial installation by our team and can typically be completed within a day without any interruption to your existing solar or storage setup.
