Job Summary:
As the Solar PV Electrical Installer, your primary responsibility will be to install the full electrical system, including inverters and battery storage, subsequent to PV panel installation. This role will encompass all types of buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
Installation of full PV systems, excluding panels, encompassing inverters and battery storage.
Completion of internal installation sign-off forms, including G98.
Provision of technical support to the developer’s team as needed.
Attendance at pre-start meetings when necessary.
Participation in weekly in-house progress and programming meetings with the Phoenix Energis Management.
Adherence to all Health & Safety standards and regulations.
Compliance with MCS regulations for installations.
Preparation and communication of handover packs to clients alongside the team.
Minimum Requirements:
Fully qualified electrician with CSCS (ECS) Gold Card.
Experience in Solar PV inverter and battery storage installations.
Proficient in IT skills.
Possession of a Full UK Driving License.
Desirable Qualities:
Willingness to grow into Project/Contracts management roles.

Anticipated department growth of 150% by the start of 2026.
Work alongside the Estimator & Technical Manager and PV panel Site’s Supervisor/Trainer.
Working hours: 7:30-5:30 Mon-Fri (remote working not authorised).
Office location: Newton Abbot (must reside within a reasonable distance).
Company Van provided (subject to Inland Revenue BIK tax implications for personal use).
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays.
